No, none of those are hers, but we talked about this author here not long ago. Audrey Fawley?

Not the first cover, though. I don't know to whom it belongs

Thanks Ruth, I thought not, would you like me to remove them from under this heading, as they are not Purita's. If not maybe Phil or someone else can enlighten us on the top one?

I don;t see why they should be removed. They could be very well a good sample of another artist's work not to be confused with Purita's. in my opinion.

I agree with Ruth. My own collection of Princess Tina only goes up to the end of 1971 so all four of those covers are new to me (though I'm afraid I can't identify the first artist). In addition it's interesting to be reminded of Audrey Fawley as I'd completely forgotten that Bear Alley posting (which also ought to help Mari with her Tammy project).

Unfortunately I've lost track of which previous covers I posted, but I think these from October 1971 are new - what's more they are a good example of three consecutive issues by different artists. As far as I can tell the first is by Purita's husband, the second by Audrey Fawley and the third by Purita herself. I could, of course, be completely wrong about all of them!

Ruth has probably already seen all these but it occurred to me that I might as well post the later covers from my Princess Tina run here - especially as I've recently been offered a very tempting swap for them and they might not be available much longer. As far as I can tell the majority of these look like Purita's work.

home at last! Yes, all of them are Purita's, though I think in a couple of them Paco helped with the back characters... (he used to help, yes)

My collection of Princess Tina begins shortly after the merger of Princess and Tina, but these six covers are the final ones from that near-complete run that appear to be drawn in the 'Campos' style. Beyond that I only have a few odd issues which indicate that the design changed significantly soon after, and though Purita continued to contribute covers I think these became less frequent while, during 1973, photo covers started to appear with increasing frequency.

These two are from later in 72, with the november copy being the last cover I have with Purita's signature. Princess is already smaller preparing for the Tina title, does anyone know exactly when that changed to a smaller Princess? It was somewhen between feb 72 and may 72.

Phil, it must be a VERY tempting swap for you to give up those lovely copies?
