Signatures You Can't Read!!!

Ever been plagued by - in pre-credit days - at last finding a signature and then... you can't read the bloody thing! 
Heres one, from the Boys World annual 1968, drawing 'Raff Regan' in colour. The artist has obligingly signed his name, but can I make it out?

Kim Stevens, my website co-producer and budding comic buff, has pointed out the characters look Greek (ah, the blessing of a classically trained friend!
) not that that really helps but...
