"For the first time in almost half a century, a new Bash Street Kid will be introduced into the hallowed pages of The Beano."
Have they forgotten about Cuthbert Cringeworthy then?

"wayne makes his debut in the playground of bash st school on 5th may and will appear from time to time - when he's not recovering from serious injury! "
Shouldn't that be " when we decide to do a new story instead of chucking in a reprint".

It's the same Percival Proudfoot Plugsley, before he had his plastic surgery to become the beautiful goon we all know and love.

I liked those two BSK strips.
I thought the robot was teacher in disguise though!
I thought Winston would be the dog in disguise, but he probably wasn't around in those days (or was he?).
