Hello

Some of you may be wondering what has happened to some of the topics recently, especially if you posted them.

The answer is that they are still all here, only they've been moved to a more appropriate forum - be it one of the comic-specific forums or the Artists' and Writers' forum.

The other fora are here for you - please use them!

That's a good idea - so we can find all the historical posts about a particular title. But is there a way to find "last 24 hours" or something? I've found the "posts since your last visit" and "your replies" buttons, but often I want to look again at a thread I looked at but didn't reply to. Do we need to check all the forums individually?

If you post it in the right forum to begin with, you'll know where you saw it

Search facility's good, actually, for that sort of thing. We could ask Al to do a time search rather than a post search, but can't promise when he'll be able to do that.

OK, what's the deal here? For the last month, the PMs I thought I'd sent end up in an "Outbox" but not "Sentbox", and have not been recieved. So what am I doing wrong?

The recipient of the PM has to "read" it first before it ends up in the Sentbox.Hope that helps.

I've had problems with PM too. I only noticed the other day that I had several unread messages but there was a zero beside the "Private Messages" banner. If this thread hadn't raised my concerns I wouldn't have bothered checking, so something's amiss somewhere.

(Not that I'm moaning. This is a great forum but little glitches like that are bound to happen beyond the control of admin.)

I just simply check all the tabs from time to time and notice that a few PMs haven't been read that are about a year old.

I could be wrong but I think the Private Messages counter only reads '1' (or more) the first time you visit after a new one arrives. If you go elsewhere, the counter reads '0' on your subsequent visits as if you automatically read the message on your first return...

Yes, as far as I know the counter says how many unread pms you have received since the start of your last visit to the site. Soon as you hit the site, the counter is reset.

I never really noticed the PM's. So if anyone thinks I have been rude in not replying that's why.
