Wallace and Gromit comic ends...very sad indeed...actually gutted...I really thought this was a big change in the comic industry...

It was the best comic mag out of all the rest...

Shaun doesn't have many comic strips like Wallace did...

Why don't kids buy comics?
I'll start a new thread...
I think Lew has hit a point that the cost of a comic is too high...which could be the biggest factor why kids don't buy it.....
They used to be called Penny Dreadful...
cheaper paper...maybe

Also circulation...WHSmith charging far too much for shelve space..
Comics could be sold everywhere.......as Lew suggested Computer games shops..

I really like the lady artist (I must get to know your name  )who writes and draws ratz point that give the artist freedom to do what they like on the page...comics can get into a rut otherwise and repeated storyline and jokes do pop up ...even intentionally a copy from a past strip..

Space R...My Own Genie...Ratz...Derek the sheep are the best thing to happen in comics in a long time....

Kids are still buying comics (or having them bought for them). Just not as many as there used to be.

There's a lot of other things out there to grab their attention these days.

By the way Peter; the artist you're thinking of is the very talented Laura Howell. http://www.laurahowell.co.uk/
