Hello.

Does anyone here remember a comic strip from The Sun Newspaper called "The Royals "
I bought an old Royal Wedding scrapbook from Charles and Diana's wedding in 1981 and on some of the pages was the comic strip.


If anyone has any info on the comic strip such as illustrators or dates etc i'd be really happy to hear from you.

IIRC, the strip in question ran in The Sun for a few months in 1981 and was basically an account of the life and times of Charlie and Diana, said strip ending on the day of their wedding.

For some reason I am associating Bill Titcombe with the strip but i'm probably wrong.

ISTR that the art looked as if it had been done by John Burns; if not him, the fellow who draws George and Lynne in The Sun.
