Challenge Charlie by Frank McDiarmid

Hi, I wonder when and for how long did Challenge Charlie drawn by Frank McDiarmid run in Valiant? Can anyone specify the exact period? Thanks! :D

Don't know the answer but would like to opine that CC was a copy of Dare-a-day Davie from Pow! - drawn by Ken Reid, he even wore the same clothes. McDairmid was also called on to replace Reid on Big Head and Thick Head in the Dandy when Ken stopped drawing it.

'Challenge Charlie' by Frank MacDiarmid began in the first combined issue of Valiant and Lion 25th May 1974 and ended with Valiant's final issue before merger with Battle dated 16th Oct 1976.
