Not sure of the exact date of this but the dc comic pictures say copyright 1988. Found it in the storage unit. Have had to trim it slightly to fit but none of the copy has been lost. The Action Comics #1 looks in really nice condition.

The difference in value between US and British comics is not particularly surprising in my opinion, but one thing has changed. You probably wouldn't be able to buy Beano or Dandy No. 1 for under £1,000 these days! I think Americans were probably always aware of the value of these comics, yet it took us much longer to realise.

More like £4000 these days. 20 years of inflation to consider, remember.

Yes, he told me he was working on a new guide. Nice guy. I purchased a nice Debbie issue 1 from him a couple of years back.
