"Classic from the comics" No.117(With free Skateboard Keyring)/CAPTAIN SCARLET No.5(With free Jet Launcher)PLANET OF THE APES No.12 From Jannary 11th 1975 picked this up for 50p today.

I got a few USA comics in the sales on Thursday - a 1965 "Aquaman" comic for ?2;50, three "Our army at Wars" (Joe Kubert art)for ?1.25 each, "Sea Devils" number 17 for ?2;00 and "Angel and the Ape " number 2 (1969) for ?2:25 - UK comics nil nothing out there intrigues me enough at the moment to be honest.

I picked up "THNDERBIRDS" comic No.1 from 1991 at the carboot for 50p, it was published by Fleetway, I didn't know they produced Thunderbirds comics.

Recently while in London, I bought Mad Classics #4 from a newsagents. This was a surprise because this is the only place I've ever seen it on sale in England. Perhaps they should relaunch the old British Mad? What, me worry?

Bought almost a full year of Hotspurs but wont be reading them for another two months as I am away until 3 Mar!
