Hi all! I'm doing a module at university about British comics and am desperately lookin for a (short) history of British comics - focus on the 20th century and the present. As the history section is not up here yet, I hoped someone of you might know one or more links where I can find information. I've got enough about the time up until the 50s, and 60s but afterwards I've got nearly no info. It'd be great if you could help me out as soon as possible! Thanks a lot in advance!!! Hi YOu might also try Roger Sabin's 'Adult Comics an introduction' (Routledge 93) Despite the title it covers Brit comics to the 90s. AT the the risk of blowing own trumpet, you could try Nottingham university which should have a copy of my own 'Children's comics in their social, institutional and ideological contexts' which is more fun than the stinker of a title suggests. And it has a history(Completed in 1997). ALways interested to chat about such things via email tho I live in New Zealand now. Best Terry
