Online voting

The Dandy Micro Blog says that the story poll will be up as soon as some gremlins are dealt with. It's actually already up, so I figured I'd look at who's winning. While the scores have been reset, it has the old poll list (and I don't know which score corresponds to which of the four new strips). And oddly, six out of seven have votes, even though three of them should be "not in use". But strangely, when I then clicked to vote, it said a vote has already been cast from this IP address. I'd only clicked on Who's Winning, not a story title. Hope that gets fixed soon, as while one vote per IP is fine, the Who's Winning link shouldn't count. And you shouldn't be able to click on the Not In Use ones at all.

As the site says, it needs to be fixed, so you're wasting your vote.

It didn't let me vote. Said I'd already voted when all I'd done was look at what the Who's Winning list said.

I voted for
Daredevil Dad in the end. It was a close thing between DD and
Hippo but I thought about all the other greedy characters and the 'kid and his weird pet' strips in the past. I felt that
Tag Team Tastic was just to slow due to it estiblishing an origin.
Phil's Finger didn't impress me at all however Chris McGhie is a great artist and I think his style really suits the Dandy. Give him another strip!
Also the online voting is still a bit weird since Robot on the Run had 40+ votes.

My guess is that the listing for Tag Team Tastic should be "Not in use", and the votes listed as Robot on the Run are theirs. I see Harry and his Hippo is winning.

Dandy chaps and chappesses,
Two weeks in to Strictly Come Laughing and the gremlins are still there!
My son wants to cast his vote - do you know when the online poll will be fixed?

The poll will be working as soon as we can have it fixed.
I say "have it fixed" because we are not coders/webbers and we only know what we want to happen and when. If something goes wrong, we are dependent on other departments for support. We are trying to find resource to have it fixed.
Fingers crossed, and keep checking - if the blog doesn't mention it being fixed, it won't be!
