Hi there all,
new to this but my dad has cleared out his attic and found a load of old comics and annuals, some of the annuals date back to 1946 to 1957 so i take it that most of the comics are of the same age below are a list of some of them, i have taken pictures of them all if you would like to see including the annuals including titles like Radio fun 1946. if anyone cand tell me more about them i would like to hear from you since i know nothing about old comics

A 3D comic? Anyway, Mystic was all reprint, issue 55 features the Avengers.

Mutt and Jeff is an american newspaper comics strip.

They also briefly appeared in The Beezer in 1962-1963 according to the Book of the Beezer.

I assume that some of those titles must be American editions - Rip Hunter and Jimmy Olsen for example (do you know what issue numbers they are?). The majority, however, seem to be British reprints by Miller, Thorpe & Porter (Strato) and Alan Class, or possibly Australian ones - in general these can all be identified by having black & white interiors where the US versions were almost always printed in colour.

The funny thing is that these British Editions tended to be ignored by collectors for many years, but in recent times they have become much more desirable - particularly when one considers that some of them are now scarcer than the American originals (the British EC titles, for example, are rarer than hens' teeth!). Personally they bring back all sorts of fond memories and I get a real thrill from seeing them. (By contrast the later British Marvel comics are much less interesting to me, though I recognize that even they have their fans amongst people who grew up during their heyday)

I know that they where all bought in the uk and some have a stamp on them as can be see below
also on some of them the cover pictures are differand then the ones i have see online

They look like well thumbed copies (which is a polite way of saying they are not in very good condition) so that would affect their price and buyers' interest. If you were to sell them it might be better to sell them as a bulk lot rather than individually. But pick out the ones in the best condition first and try to sell those individually.

they have been well read, there are lots with out covers but most of them are in the same condition that you see.
i was going to stick them all on ebay but the more i look into them the more i am not sure what to do.
i have no idea what they are worth, but would like them to go to a good home if that makes sense

I know what you mean, I sometimes see books in flea markets that are very old but getting damaged in the melee of people rummaging. I buy them and put them on ebay knowing someone who really wants it will buy it. Plus I get my money back. But sometimes get lumbered with the item - I have a 1960s ABC Rail Guide and two Opera annuals from the 50s that I couldn't offload.

I only set up an ebay account yesterday so have not had time to work out what to do yet or what to list them under...old comics I suppose

there is also bandy, beano, Swift (no. 1 onwards), Tiger (1959), Lion (1957),Robin (No. 2 onwards), Express
and lots more, there are lots of cowboy themed one, some i have heard of and some i have not

Bandy? You mean Dandy, right? If they're of similar vintage to the rest of the stuff, they may be worth a fair bit. Beano, Dandy, and Tiger are very popular titles - Tiger was the original home of Roy of the Rovers.

they are again like the comics well thumbed, below are a few of them, some are better condition then these and some are worse
Mixed in the box with these where some Star trek, Comicolour, Ginger nut, Lone Ranger and Space 1999 annuals
