Hey there, just a plug for SOLAR WIND, it's a spoof boys comic in the DCT, IPC mould and we've just released our second issue! In this one, the girls comic editors take over half way through, putting girl's strips in among the likes of DeathSquid and No-Eyed Jim.

While it is a spoof, it's also a real affectionate tribute to those old comics of the 70's and 80's. The Eagles, the Actions, The 2000ADS etc. If there's anything you like/dislike in Solar Wind, I'd love to hear about it. If there's anything you would like us to tackle, let us know. While the comic is a spoof, we do try to provide some good stories in there too!

Might be worth pointing out Paul (and Cosmic Ray) has some 2000AD creators on Solar Wind. And a 'hair-raising' free gift!

Thanks for the mention on your site Chris, much appreciated! Solar Wind is a real attempt to enjoy the old style of british kids comic, without just being a headless leap into nostalgia and actually dish up soemthing new. Anyway, anyone interested, just contact me! Cheers Paul
