I think it is an artist called Eileen Fowley (a pseudonym), but I might be mistaken

I've only known this artist as Audrey Fawley, but apparently her real name is Charlotte Fawley.

Hels, brilliant credit there. You have solved the mystery in one. To me, the clue is in the eyes. You have these great big beautiful eyes on the main character, but the supporting characters' eyes are all closed/shaded.
The comment that is most telling for me is the one by Jeremy Davis on bearalley.
"A great article on one of those artists you know instantly even though you've never heard her name!"
I knew the style, but I would have not been able to name the artist for a million pounds.
