I have gone completely barmy and purchased a Dan Dare board by David Pugh.

Re: David Pugh's Dan Dare Art
Lovely stuff! Perhaps an unfashionable incarnation, but I rather enjoyed it at the time, and DP's artwork was impeccable
(And I bet the art looks a lot better on the original boards than that incredibly thin and glossy weekly gossip mag-type paper Eagle was being printed on in them days!)

Re: David Pugh's Dan Dare Art
Well since then I have found out that David has been selling his artwork via Facebook and have just bought a few boards.
As far as it being Tom Tully/David Pugh's Dan Dare being unfashionable - maybe. But it will always be my Dan Dare even more than the 2000AD incarnation. Don't get me wrong, I love the original Eagle's Dan Dare but I will always see Frank Hampson's Dan Dare belonging to my dad since he read it as a kid and introduced me to the character in the 1970s.
