the Beano characters would work quite well in cruder Claymation-styled animation, methinks: they have never really gelled on cel animation, in my view, and CGI Beano characters I have seen thus far [in one of the annuals] were an abomination.
Gnasher would look more primal and tripe-hound-like if manouvered as a blob of coloured clay, methinks.
Yes I can see a dimensional model Gnasher rendered like Wallace and Gromit: there are commercial possibilities there.
