Hi there,

Can someone help me to identify the artist worked on this piece? And which strip it may be from?

I think it's early Pippin, from around 1966-68; but I've no reference.

The artist looks like it could be Neville Main, or maybe Bill Mevin, but any suggestions would be appreciated:

Ah! Sorry about that Richard - Here's a second attempt!

Pretty sure it's not Neville Main now.

How about Wally Fawkes, who went by the pen name Trog. He drew the newspaper strip, Flook in the Daily Mail?

Could be Bill Titcombe who used that fine line style, perhaps drawing in a nursery comic style. He was a Polystyle Publications regular.

Bill Titcombe - Looks like he did some great work for TV Comic, things like Inspector Gadget, and Willo The Wisps. These are all a little later on I think, I can see some similarities, I'm not sure.

Wally Fawkes - I think was Daily Mail and I'm pretty sure these would have been for the Polystyle Publications.

Then there's a Tivvy - Not sure which comic this was used in, or who the artist was - 1964 ish I suspect:


Then there are these 4 which I think go together. Perhaps they are another set from Bill Mevin.
I've no idea what the series is though, or where it was used:
