Heh, I plug this fairly regularly here when there's a new issue out! I know a few people here have bought it before, but I never get much of a response on the board, is there anything anyone wants to know about it?

Basically this issue is a 48 page comic, with over 20 strips by a host of contributors featuring strips such as Murderdrome 1997 (futuresports), The Lofty and the Lowly (Footie strip), as well as spoof letters and features.

It?s Traditional Sports versus Future Sports, with two teams of 11 strips (plus subs) competing for the comics title!

The Solar Wind team, coached by none other than stellar editor Cosmic Ray includes Murderdrome: 1997, Griefbringer, Rollerbowls, Ultradarts 1999 and Death Olympics 2012AD. They may be the underdogs in this match, but they?ve slain many a bigger title in local merger derbies and have the added advantage of future technology and a high body count.

Then, managed by The Ref, come such well loves strips as The Lofty and the Lowly, Donny Darto, Sidney?s Shoes, Freeze Frame Finnegan and Pot Luck! The Ref knows his job is on the line with this match. If he wins, it?ll mean a new lease of life for his comic, but if he loses then his logo will shrink each week and he?ll join Starlord and Big E on the dole queue.
