Re: Roy of the Rovers coming back?

Nothing appalling about the art. Plenty of character, and with a clear view of the story being told, especially if you have read the graphic novels and books. I'd also be pretty certain that David drew his pages for the special on a tablet. He certainly coloured them digitally, and it's totally unmi...

Re: Roy of the Rovers coming back?

You should have read to the end. David Sque has drawn a new strip in it.

The whole reboot is extremely well written and plotted out, and the key characters are well-defined. The artwork is a matter of taste, and I like it.

There is a hint on that on the inside front cover of the second Braddock story, to look out in December. Whether it's Ramsey's Raiders, Union Jack Jackson or something else altogether it doesn't say.
Been confirmed it's Union Jack Jackson on 12th December.

Re: Free comic book day 2019- cant wait

I asked the store manager if I could take two copies of Funny Pages, and actually picked up four by accident. He waved me on, but he's a very decent guy. I also got the Doctor Who story. One copy has gone to my brother in law, and the other two spares will be given away by the end of next weekend. I...

Re: EPIC being cancelled

I bought 156 and 157. At 13 years and one month, that's actually not a bad run, even though it had several identity changes, and considering how low a budget it ran on compared to its early days when its strip content was much higher and its feature content much lower. When it lost the Dennis and Gn...
