Sourced a nice Beano comic no' 512 from 1960 including a panel of Pansy Potter comic art by James Clark (1895-1977). Pics asap.
Update: Here's the comic in question. Also check out the forum link to the James Clark " Pansy Potter in Wonderland" comic panel that came with the comic. Cool is an understatement.

Just taken delivery of Judge Child Books 2 and 3, from Titan Books, published back in the eighties. Some classic Judge Dredd action, there, with some lovely art by Ron Smith and Mike McMahon.

Being a big Ally Sloper fan/collector I was over he moon to get 'Ally Sloper A Moral Lesson' published in 1873 and widely regarded as being the first British comic book. It contains the first collection of Sloper strips by Marie Duval taken from Judy between 1867 and 1872.
Also got Ally Slopers Book of Beauty from 1877, and 4 of the rare Ally Slopers Comic Kalendars.

Re: What comics did you buy today?
A little off topic perhaps but I’m spending some time in Australia (maybe about a year), does anybody know any good spots to check out for comics? I’m in Melbourne but I’ll be visiting Sydney. Thanks!

Re: What comics did you buy today?
Weeks have gone by without finding any old comics in the charity shops to add to my collection ,however today I spotted a comic in a charity shop window which I decided to buy.
Paid £3 which is not too bad.
