Playhour comic - can you help?

Hi all,
can anyone help me with details of a strip from 'Playhour'???

I think it was an adaptation of 'The children of the New Forest' - characters involved included Baron Fairfax (a roundhead) and Tom Kettle (a tinker)

Not much to go on I know but I thought I'd ask

Any help with issue dates or examples of the strip would be much appreciated

Richard S, done a bit of detective work for you. I think you might have confused wrong comic. What I found was the Children of the New Forrest strip appeared in the Princess comic circa 1962 by Fleetwood Press and not Playhour. I could be wrong unless those characters did feature in Playhour but under a different title, but check it out anyway. Might be of interest?

The strip I'm after is in black & white and has quite a gentle, cartoon-y style.
