Unknown Roy of the Rovers artists
As a keen collector of RotR info, can't find who these two artists are, though...
Any idea ???- colcool007

Re: Unknown Roy of the Rovers artists
The first one could be Joe Colquhoun. Please note that is a "could be" not a "definite".
I started to say something sensible but my parents took over my brain!

Re: Unknown Roy of the Rovers artists
Yes thanks, it could be...
But I beleive it's not J. C.'s work. Similar to, but not...
Nice try, anyway, thanks again!

Re: Unknown Roy of the Rovers artists
After a lot of effort, I must say, that I've probably recognized the artist of "The Team with the Secret Weapon" RotR story. It's either John Joseph McNamara (1918 - 2001), well known for drawing Francis Durbridge's (1912 - 1998) "Paul Temple" comic series (1st sample), or Ronald Sydney 'Ron' Embleton (1930 - 1988) although I doubt this (second) one.

Concerning the other RotR sample, I beleive it's a Patricia 'Pat' Tourret's (1929 - 2018) artwork, or maybe Neville Colvin's (1918 - 1991) one. Colvin is also very well known as the original artist for Peter O'Donell's "Modesty Blaise" comic series (2nd sample).
Re: Unknown Roy of the Rovers artists
Sorry to be a pain, Nick, but I think your Modesty Blaise example is by Enrique Badia Romero. Here's an example of Neville Colvin from the same series.

Nick, the original (and best) Modesty Blaise artist was Jim Holdaway. https://www.lambiek.net/artists/h/holdaway_jim.htm

Re: Unknown Roy of the Rovers artists
Meanwhile, having found this completed 2-paged sample of Tiger Annual 1968 RotR story artwork, it could be a Nicola Del Principe's (1927 - 2002) or Eugenio Antonio Benni's (1939 - 2009) drawing. Still, no data found about a possible co-operation between that Italian comic art studio and British AP/Fleetway editions.

Another one of this same era, similar to 'Pat' Tourret style...

Could be an Angelo Todaro piece of artwork, though.
