Bought any yourself? Still thinking of getting Shadows series 1?

No I haven't bought anything since Look-back I should have bought them when the price was low before xmas, although the Doomboat chase is now back down to £9.18 and 4-Idle hands, and yes I still would like Shadows 1, I wouild also like to get 1 offs DVD's like Armchair thriller, Hazel, Tales of the unexpected, plus others,
Zodiac looks interesting from 1974 I don't remember it,also Scorpion Tales Arrrrrggggg just so many I want.

I don't think I want Metal Micky anymore.

I will look at my finance's at the end of the month.

I think I need to buy a Blu ray player.

There still may be a 30%, 40% or 50% off sale at Network soon - there usually is some kind of sale around the early part of the year.

Yes, I knew that. Very unfortunate for Network and lots of other companies, including some indie record labels. I suppose Network's website exclusive releases will be hit hardest, because lots of the generally available titles will be out with retailers.

Network have a few new things of interest out or nearly out: The Strange World of Gurney Slade, Dramarama: Spooky, Shadows series 3 ...

It would be karma if the fiends who destroyed that warehouse wanted to buy something (i.e. a DVD or CD) only to find it's out of stock due to the fire!

I've been buying box sets off ebay - 60s western shows mainly Laredo, Laramie and the Virginian all of which I grew up watching in the 60s. The problem with the company that releases them is that they don't put the region code on the box. I saw these at the comic fair but didn't buy them as i couldn't be sure they were region 2. Luckily the ebay sellers have given the region code. Yes I did hack my dvd player to become multi-region a few years ago but for some reason it returned to region 2 only and I couldn't re-hack it. Odd that. Yes I know I can buy a new one for a score but I already have another freeview box with card (for ESPN) and a Freeview HDD/DVD recorder for recordings and don't want another box n front of my telly. (I don't want to hack the latter as i'm scared I might bugger it up as it has served me very well with recording tv shows and transferring them to disc over the years - its a Wharfedale).

I would like the Shadows series I still haven't got around buying series 1&2 I have them on my wish list in Amazon.

I have just noticed this "Bobbies on the Box" write up in an early seventies comic , i thought it may be of interest to some members , even though it was discussed in 2010.

I never missed Z-Cars in the 70s with PC Quilley and PC Render, DI Hagger etc. Very true to life. BBC4 should repeat them.

A very interesting looking obscure curio from 1968 out from Network (a website exclusive) on Monday. A 1968 ITV children's adventure series set in swinging London with a soundtrack including Pink Floyd, The Nice, Cream and The Moody Blues. In colour - and in novelty packaging!

Get a fix on you tube until they bring it out on dvd ,ive just watched some , feel better already! Does this face look like the Joker?Or have i just watched too much!
