Looking forward to the return of any 'classic' Dandy character.

I'll guess Bully Beef and Chips, if I'm right I want my £5 Boots vouchter!

Your pacing is better than the old George and the Dragon, Andy!

I'm guessing not, because it's only a couple of years since Wayne Thompson brought them back. So I would expect him to do it if they came back again.

dishes, thanks for the info about George and the Dragon.

Aw, thank you!

I'm very fascinated by that older George and the Dragon, though. I recognise the art, somehow...is it the same artist who used to draw something for The Beano? Gordon Gnome, or something like that?

Looks like it to me (can't find any Gordon Gnome images to compare though... I keep getting the Cbeebies character Gordon the Garden Gnome in searches). Gordon Gnome's artist was called Eric Wilkinson.

Andy - firstly, best of luck with the new (old) character! Still intrigued to find out who it is....!

Secondly, are there any George Vs Dragon episodes left to publish or any news on whether you will be doing any more?

I buy The Dandy for both of my sons now (aged 12 and 10) and George Vs Dragon was one of their favourites of the new strips ...

(..and also one of mine!)

Aw, thank you, Spencer! Glad you're all enjoying it!

I've got three more George vs Dragon strips to run at the moment, but they've also asked for two pages for this year's Dandy annual, so hopefully that means there'll be a few more in the comic itself as well!

But when George finishes, I have a second strip waiting to take its place, so you won't be rid of me that quickly :D

Yeah... Boo. If that proves as big a success as GvsD, you could end up with three pages in the comic. :)
