Hello,
Can anyone identify the following two artists please?
The first is artwork from the Fighting Tom Cochrane series from the Victor issue 1456 and the second from the Marshall of Magnon again from the Victor issue 1507. (Looks very familiar, I just can't name the artist).
Thanks
Adrian.

It's been a long search but finally with the help of a comic fan in Malta, Alex Vella, we have finally tracked down someone who knew and worked with Harry.
He is a relative of the artist, who has kindly provided us with information about Harry and a photograph of him. Please click on the ...

I'm going to have all my comics and books (those I've not been able to give to good homes), made into wooden/paper blocks and then have them used to build a mausoleum around me!steelclaw wrote:No one I'm being buried with mine.

Re: ...and I leave my comic collection to...
Interesting question and not as daft as it sounds. There are though a number of issues to consider here. The main one being that the paper that most British comics was printed on is of a very low quality. So there is very little chance of passing on a comic collection from one generation to the ...

ID of two artists please.
Can I beg your indulgence once again in helping to identify two artists for me? Please see the attached image. (To enlarge it just click on the image). I think the Cadman artist is Mike Dovey? No idea about the Marshall of Magnon series though.
Thanks as ever.

Thanks as ever.

Victor Summer Special missing issues - help required please.
Hello,
I’m after a big favour please from forum members. I want to complete indexing the Victor Summer Specials , but I’m having trouble tracking down the issues I’m missing. Not many issues appear on e-bay these days and when they do, tend to be sold for high prices. Even the British ...

Re: What comics did you buy today?
One of the recent comics I bought was Torpedo , volume one of five. Not a British comic, but a Spanish comic, published by IDW Publishing. Not sure if this is allowed in this Forum, seeing as how it isn't British. But if you haven't read it, I highly recommend this work. Artwork is by Jordi Bernet ...

British Art schools before and after the Second World War.
Hello,
I'm trying to build up a list of British Art schools based in London between 1937 and 1950 which comic artists may well have attended. I'm currently looking to write the biographies of several D.C. Thomson artists for my website www.victorhornetcomics.co.uk

Re: Lost comic strips/adventures.
Thank you one and all for your replies. It's always a surprise to me how much I don't know about British comics and the industry in general.
