Bob Harvey

Post by Nick_the_Greek »

Bob Harvey is a British comic artist, well known for his contribution in girls (mostly) comics, but I can't find any detail for him, searching the net. Sample of his artwork for PAM comic, is attached here.

Unfortunately, all my efforts lead to Robert Harvey, an American artist.

Any help will be much appreciated :D :)

Good luck with this, but I think you will find it heavy going. As far as I know little or nothing is known about him. You may like to know though that your sample is not from a comic called PAM. The series “Pam of Pond Hill” was published in Jinty and Tammy comics. More information about the series is here: https://jintycomic.wordpress.com/2015/1 ... 1979-1984/ Your particular example is from the Tammy 1986 Annual.

I’m not aware of any other information about this artist, and in fact I was under the impression that even his name is known only because he was credited as the Pam of Pond Hill artist in later editions of Tammy. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Thanks a lot for the response, you've been very helpful, though.
