The BIRMINGHAM INTERNATIONAL COMICS SHOW (December 9th and 10th 2006, Custard Factory, Gibb Street, Birmingham) You're kidding is that the proper address? that's just so British comics "Custard Factory" I can see Ken Reid, Leo Baxendale etc running amok with that idea.
Nice update on your site Lew I will enjoy reading the Combat Colin strip in full later. Good to see your busy this weather getting your work out there.

Looked at the photos and pleased to see Phil Clark (the bloke on his mobile) who, along with Frank Dobson, was one of the first people to deal in comics in the early sixties and start off comic fandom in the UK. I'll get the Christmas Beano but I think last year was the first time I didn't buy the Christmas Dandy as it had no snow on the cover and no Christmas feel about it. Another nail in its coffin. How long before it is absorbed into the Beano?

That first convention was plugged by Odhams at the time too:

Wasn't there a Dandy Christmas Special published last year?
