Here are some actual scripts which are included with my collection of original Wally Robertson pencils as referred to in the artists forum, thought i'd share them with you. On the second page of the first strip Wally has done a few try out pencils at the bottom. The scripts are from Film Fun.

Hmm, reads less like a script and more like somebody telling a joke in the pub XD. "So this bloke gets it out, and it's like 20 foot long, and his wife says 'that'll never get through the door'" etc
When i was in my teens (mid 70s) i used to write and draw my own strips and send them to Thomson and Fleetway. They said my art wasn't good enough but to try scriptwriting. However they stipulated that scripts had to be submitted in drawn form ie panel by panel in rough pencils in order to give artist an idea what was going on. I had one script accepted for Hector the Collector in Cracker and was really pleased when I saw the artist had followed my layouts. It was the one where Hector decides to collect boxes. I did another one with candles (which i still have) but it was turned down because i'd put a priest into the strip which was not allowed by Thomson at the time, but i noticed they started to appear a little later.

Comic scripts seem to take various forms depending on the editor. Script in this form are still used by DC Thomson (from what I've seen). Others can be laid out differently. I usually do it this way:
TOXIC No. 105
TEAM TOXIC in: BOG?S PROBS!
PAGE ONE:
1: Bog is looking poorly, as Doc Shock uses various hi-tech equipment to scan him in Doc?s lab.
CAPTION:
BOG IS FEELING POORLY?
DOC SHOCK:
MY HI-TECH SCANNING EQUIPMENT SHOULD FIND OUT THE PROBLEM!
2: Doc examines a print out / x-ray and rubs his chin thoughtfully. Bog and the others look worried.
DOC SHOCK:
HMM?. NOT GOOD?
BOG: GULP! WHAT?S WRONG WITH ME DOC?
3: Doc reveals the news. Bog looks depressed.
DOC SHOCK:
BAD NEWS BOG! YOU?RE BIO-DEGRADING! SOON THERE WON?T BE ANYTHING LEFT OF YOU!
BOG: ERK! TH- THAT?S THE PRICE OF BEING A LIVING POO I GUESS!
(and so on).
When I worked from Roy Davis' scripts on Buster he'd supply "scripts" as A3 sketched out pages.
Hmm, that's very similar to how i script, actually...

1: Mike, in his Volvo, tows the XR4 home, using one of those brace things that makes the car being towed behave like a trailer, so that Aaron doesn?t have to sit in it. So he is with Mike
Aaron: Handy you had that towing thing that makes the car being towed behave like a trailer, so I don?t have to sit in it
Mike: Yeah, never leave home without it...
2: Aaron and Mike
Aaron: I suppose that?s so if you come across a sexy woman broken down you can offer to tow her back to her place and turn on the charm during the drive...
3: Aaron and Mike
Mike: Actually, it?s so if I find an old heap for sale beside the road for fifty quid I can buy it there and then and get it back home without insurance or anything

Aaron: The scary thing is, that?s probably the truth...

As i'm also the artist, my panel descriptions tend to be extremely breif, more like reminders for instance "they duck as bullets come through the windows", "Eugene" or even "boom!"
