Am trying to collect strips of this great series that ran in the Daily Mail from 1949-84 and which surely desrves to be properly collected, but which is very hard to come by.
My interest was first "piqued" by the 8 strips reprinted in the 1971 Penguin Book of Comics.
Next I managed to get hold the one book by Trog held by Glasgow's Mitchell Library, which maninly contains his political cartoons, but does contain one storyline sequence of Flook about food being banned from 1965.
I then ordered the expensive pamphlet "The Pataphysical Flook" published by The Pataphysical Society which reprinted a very few excerpts from strips delaing with Pataphysics . Just recently manged to acquire a copy of the original book "I. Flook" from 1962 which is a text book with illustrations.
Does anyone else known of any other Flook collections that existed, or places where the strips were reprinted?
