EWOKS IN THE UK?

Does anyone know if Marvel UK published any Ewoks stories in any of their titles?

They did indeed. The first Ewoks strip to appear in the UK was published in the last Star Wars Annual (along with a reprint of US Annual #3) sometime before the tv show arrived here. Ewoks strips then appeared in 'The Spider-man' comic as a back-up strip. This was, again, before the tv show was aired on the BBC. When the cartoon did arrive, Marvel UK launched their own monthly Ewoks title. This may, at some point, have recycled strips previously printed in Spider-man. There was also an Ewoks Annual from Marvel, again reprinting US material.

I should add that the Ewoks strip never appeared in Marvel UK's main Star Wars title for reasons unknown! It did, however, give away some cover-mounted Ewoks transfers with a couple of issues which were based on the tv show and, thus, had the same character designs as the Ewoks strip. One issue of Return of the Jedi weekly did have a feture on Caravan of Courage, the first Ewoks TVM which was released as a theatrical film in the UK.
