lets play les pretend. you are the editor of a new monthly, that reprints the best stories from comics launched post 1970,(because i think ipc dont own them anymore) by ipc/fleetway,pick 10 of the best stories , probably not your fav, but ones that will entertain the post beano pre 2000ad market gap.mine are as follows in no particular order adam eterno from thunder, the tower king from eagle, the angry planet from tornado,mind wars from starlord,the 13th floor from scream, loner from wildcat,major easyand johnny red from battle dredger from actionand possibly hot shot hamish to please the sports fans,lets hear what you think!

Egmont Fleetway transferred ownership of 2000AD to Rebellion. The Eagle was transferred to someone else (can't remember who). Egmont owns Battle and Action (plus post-1980 i.e. Bob Maxwell comics) plus various funnies such as Buster (Leopard from Lime Street). IPC owns the rest (i.e. Steel Claw, Spider, Adam Eterno etc).
So, I'll go for 5 each:
IPC: Steel Claw/ Adam Eterno/ the Spider/ Dollman/ Trigan Empire (virtually Vulcan comic)
Fleetway: Leopard from Lime Street/ Hookjaw/ Charley's War/ Birdman & Chicken/ Spinball
DC Thomson (who were always more about stories than characters): Arena/ King Cobra/ Union Jack Jackson/ Walking Bombs/ a Starblazer story
If anyone has a few hundred pounds to invest, I'd love to publish a Valiant Summer/ Winter Special with the IPC characters (I'm sure Terry & BTCG would be involved somewhwere along the line too).
