OCTOPUS IN A TOWER BLOCK

Anyone remember a D C Thompson story featuring a giant squid or octopus that lived in an office block and attacked the inhabitants. I think it was in an issue of Red Dagger but was reprinted from an earlier weekly serial. Sounds ridiculous now but I liked it at the time. Any ideas?

It was Red Dagger no.9, "Terror in the Tall Tower" with art by the great Denis McLoughlin.
The cover of the Red Dagger reprint was by Ian Kennedy.
I'm not sure where it was originally printed.
Either Victor or Hotspur I'd guess?
