A big thank you to Al and everyone who's spoken so positively about our new Striker comic. We're certainly sailing in unchartered and stormy waters, but so far we're enjoying the voyage. The most encouraging aspect of the launch is the fantastic response from our readers - their letters and emails have confirmed that the comic is being bought by people who have never bought comics before. Our youngest reader is 11 and the oldest 63! The Sun and Daily Star's seem to think it's just the 3D artwork that makes a strip work - rubbish; it's the thought that goes into the characters, stories and content that makes Striker different. I'm not celebrating yet but I'm confident this will be the start of an exciting future.

But I don' think Gazza's got the legs for a full season!

BTW, any news about the adventure comic? Sci-fi, war or secret agents etc?

Football, not my thing, but I got issues #1 to #3 just because it's great to see a real home produced comic.

#2 seemed to be the best of the first three in my view.
