Girl's Comics Jigsaw puzzle.

I was looking in a charity shop this morning in Greenwich (just prior to getting wet in the wind and rain) and saw nothing of interest. End of anecdote I hear you think. Not so fast, on my way out of the charitable emporium I glanced at the window and saw this Jigsaw box cover. Executing a swift 180 degree turn I returned to the inner sanctum and purchased same. Thirty bob. I didn't care if it was comlete I just liked the cover. I figured it was from the mid 1980s so was quite surprised to see a copyright date of 2008 on the lid. It was sold by Marks and Spencer (well known high street chain store) Has anybody else seen this? And were their any other versions? I would presume a Beano/Dandy one would have been produced?

Image isn't that great as it would not lie flat on the scanner due to its size.

PS there are some pieces missing (it says on the lid).

Along with a small number of other jigsaws, the themes of which currently escape me, it was produced specifically for M&S. I got mine a couple of weeks before Christmas last year. It cost £9.50 but there was a three for two offer on at the time. I bought two as presents and kept the third one for myself.

I mentioned about this Jigsaw last year, I looked in half a dozen M&S's but couldn't find it. like most things I look for
