I have a Jag annual which is pretty thick and contains some cool stories... it didn't last for long did it? Like Hurricane really... short lived comic that produced great annuals!

Well today, I picked up several indies and my recommendation of the week is cascade failure. It's a web comic that can be classified as Manga meets Electric Soup. Alternatively, you can think of it as a Jock version of PVPOnline...

I too got a lot of small press stuff, funny that!

Especially good are Tozo (mystery story set in a venice-like city state with it's own fashions, technology and things), Vampire Free Style (very cute and odd story), Delicate Axiom (story that starts out normal and gets wierder and wierder) and Massacre For Boys (a parody of old british comics that's actually good!).

I also got one called Jambo - "the first jam-powered superhero!" which sounds suitably Viz-ish, not read it yet though.

Just picked up the Look-In Annual from the local Poundland. Was chuffed to see there are lots of credits for not only the artists, but the writers as well. Now shh, I am hunting Wictors. Be wery, wery, quiet...

 I completely forgot about him, those Looney Tunes shorts haven't been on telly for years! But it was Rs he substituted with Ws, like Jonathan Ross, not V.
He speaks in an unusual way, replacing his Rs with Ws, so "Watch the road, Rabbit," is replaced with "Watch the woad, wabbit!" Elmer's signature catchphrase is, "Be vewy vewy quiet, I'm hunting wabbits",
