As I already have loads of originals from Esther/Patty and Johnny/Juanito, this time I asked for a Doreen (the bad one on the series) that we used for the January Magazine. The writing on it says "Don't kid yourselves, I'm Johnny's girlfriend!!"
and this other is from Miguel Fuster. He was huge in the seventies/eighties but spent all his money in booze and parties, his house was destroyed by fire and he lost everything. An alcoholic and homeless, he spent 15 years living in the streets of Barcelona, surviving as a begger. A few years ago he was "rescued" by an association dedicated to help the homeless, and initiated an AA program. With their help he opened a blog and started telling -and more importantly, drawing- his story. Fans and old friends convinced him to publish his experience and this became true last year. His graphic novel "Miguel, 15 years on the street" was published last year and it is an amazing story. I did even cry because it is a very hard one. The sencond part will be out possibly next April for the Comic Salon in Barcelona. And he did a drawing for the magazine as well for me, wishing all the readers a very happy new year:
