Well, Phoenix! The comic was about as good condition as you would get for approx 50 years old- near mint! Superb condition gift- and! those `solicitation` cards - which are ULTRA RARE!! Even Phil Shrimpton had never seen those! Had to go for it!

Free Gifts 1967

In 1967 Thomsons published 726 issues across 14 juvenile titles which between them contained 34 free gifts * (see Judy listing). In the year only three titles failed to produce a free gift Dandy, Beano and Rover & Wizard.

I strongly suspect Ray that the edible gifts are the most rare as, I have a very strong image of me shoving something into my gob that I got from a comic

The gift in Judy 373 (Mar. 4 1967) was a Pretty Pearly Bracelet to match the previous week's Pretty Pearly Necklace.

And of course thanks to Hen for pointing out my transposition error with regard to the two extra Hornet gifts in 1966 which rose the gift total for the year from 29 to 31.
