Paw, it is on the Aussie reprint site http://ausreprints.net/issue/69678/0
The story 'A Very Dangerous Dude' was in the Harvey original comic No 1 from 1950.

Following up my post on Thursday August 11...

BOYS' RANCH was a series of six 52pp. issues published by Harvey in the USA in 1950, with art by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. Three reprint issues were published in Australia in August to December 1955 by Jubilee Publications and presumably also distributed in the UK. They were priced 9d. The series was also reprinted in the UK by Streamline in 1951 and in World Distributors’ 1955 “Western Tales”.

I bought issue 2 of the Australian reprint:
http://ausreprints.net/cover/series/5137/0/1/200/50

Contents:
“A Very Dangerous Dude” (from the US Boys’ Ranch #1)
“I’ll Fight You For Lucy” (from the US Boys’ Ranch #3)
“The Clay Duncan Story” (from the US Boys’ Ranch #2)

3 more Valiant Summer Specials from '68, '72 and '76 to take my total to 6. 2 more Valiant Annuals from '66 and '80 which means I only need 6 more I think. I also picked up 40 odd Commando comics all pre #1000 that I didn't have. Good day!

I only knew 'Charley's War' by Joe Colquhoun so finding these two 'Johnny Red' last Monday was quite a discovery. I picked up 'London's dark' along with the other two

I might do. Here is the latest article Roll Up For The Mystery Tour. But the reason I get review copies is that I act as an enthusiastic amateur contributor over on Down The Tubes and my latest workmanlike review was souped by our own John Freeman as I have enjoyed every word of Steve MacManus' The Mighty One.

Language is a bit extreme for voluntarily buying a comic I feel.

Out in the fields of two carboots this morning which were smaller due to weather uncertainty .
Got this nice collection from a seller for £1.
It includes Vulcan comic which I had never heard of before and therefore is of most interest to me.

There were a number of annuals I didn't buy including 1920s Holiday annuals where the buyer wanted £2 each these being story annuals though.
Also didn't buy Charlies Angels and Look-in annuals because of the limited amount of comic strip in them and didn't buy Sparky And Beano annuals because that particular buyer also wanted £2 each.

Originally the seller wanted two pounds for all is comics which included Eagle classics PC49.
Since I already have PC49 I decided just to inquire the price of the Harris Tweed and Vulcan to which he replied 50p.
I then asked him if I offered a pound would he include the Victor comics telling him that would leave him with the PC49 comic and after slight pause he said yes.
