It hasn't flagged up on eBay tonight. Either some idiot has bought it or the seller has been sensibly advised to withdraw it.
It's not on Ebay: https://www.abebooks.co.uk/servlet/Book ... %26ds%3D20

and there's postage on top!

Issues 16 and 23 of The Savage Sword of Conan from 1976 and 1977 respectively. I also picked up the humour Super Mags issue 1 so now all I need to find is the Super Mags for Girls and I have the full set!
I started to say something sensible but my parents took over my brain!

That's funny. I bought Super Mags #2 yesterday so I now only need the Girl's one for the full set!

Is that the boys' one with Mantracker on the cover or is there another one? Either way, can I see a photo?

It's been a long time since I posted on this thread which goes to show how I've been detached from ebay for a while. Today, I bought a September 1982 issue of Battle with free SAS badge. Originally, it was going for £35, which I thought was too high considering I purchased Battle no.1 with free stickers for less. Then it was reduced to £17. Still, a little high but, being a sucker for free gifts and my ongoing affinity with Battle, I weakened. The condition of both issue and free gift is very good so... I'm happy :D

Like a prospector searching for gold nuggets the weekly trek to the carboots rarely produces the result I am looking for but the search goes on. :)
Today an average day there was one stall with some 80's VICTOR annuals.
Date wise these would not normally interest me but flicking through the pages you cannot help but be impressed I picked out one to buy.
VICTOR (annual) 1983---------------£1
From another stall got--
THE FLINTSTONES ANNUAL 1969-----------10p
Visited two carboots today , the first had a 1955 Gene Autry annual I liked but l didn't want to pay the £4 price tag (well I have got a holiday booked in two weeks time) and there was also a DANDY ANNUAL 1961 for 25p but didn't get this because half the spine was missing.
The hottest day of the year the wife is in the garden with the hedge trimmer("can you help me ?"she asks)

Fourteen issues of Suzy arrived this morning from 30th Century Comics. :D I have seen them all before of course in the British Library, and noted down their content. However, as I never have sufficient time there to read them as well, buying them is the grin-and-bear-it option.

Back to the charity shop boxes for more 80's reads
This time picked
Marvel FUN AND GAMES magazine 1980
an oddity comic book which is of interest as a collector, The cover says hair-raising puzzles which is also a good thing because I am going a bit thin on top. :)
DC ARION lord of atlantis No 16 1984
DC ARION lord of atlantis No 19 1984
DC ARION No20 1984
DC ARION No21 1984
Marvel The uncanny X-MEN No 179 1984
comics 50p each and if I wasn't keeping to a budget I would have got a few more.

I picked up issue 194 of Debbie from Phil Shrimpton's auctions. In that year I still need issue 193 but obtaining it is no longer anywhere near as important.

I picked up four annuals yesterday. Playschool 1979, Jackpot 1983, Scoop 1984 and The undated Crackerjack Wester annual which appears to have been credited as being published in 1959.
