can any one tell me how long this title ran for,what year , wher can i get it etc, i have one somewhere with a great ian kennedy cover, of a blazin guns british army type, i think its no16, but i cant lay my hands on it, any help graciously recieved

According to an old UK Price Guide I have it ran from 1/10/79 to 30/6/84. Only 30 issues are listed in the guide though. I always wondered if all the stories were reprints or if they were new.

I have five or six of them now. But as far as I can remember, they were all reprints.

As far as I know it ran for 30 issues. It has a sister companion title called Lucky Star which also ran for 30 issues. I got issue #1 whilst on holiday in North Wales when it first came out but they never sold any in the shops local to me. Twisty was the star of #1. Regards Earl.

I love the Red Dagger comics. Superb comics. Had a whole bunch of them once. The ones I remember are Cast Iron Bill, The Blitz Kid, Tiger McTaggert, The Smasher.
