Can anyone help my faulty memory - was there ever a comic book character called 'Silly Billy'? I'm thinking he would probably be more of a children's character, along the lines of Andy Pandy. Any help would be great.

Hi ziggy There was a comic book character called silly billy not sure which comic it was in. I have a recollection it was either Dandy or Beano. Sorry not to be more helpful. I do rememeber reading it though so it must have been one of those two comics.

Hi its me again my last message was wrong sorry ! I managed to find out what comic Silly Billy was in and it was Teddy Bear Comic and this time I am right. Hope this helps.

You can Ziggy, go to ebay the silver years comics 1950s - 1960s and check I have seen copies for sale on there.

Ziggy on ebay under other annuals are 3 copies of the Teddy Bear at ?1.00 - ?2.00 dated 1972, 1974 there is a few days to go on the bidding. Hope this helps
