Digital Copies of Princess and Tammy

Hey guys

I recently re-discovered some of my old comics in my mothers attic only to discover, to my horror, that my brother sold more than half of them at a car boot! I found the first Nicky and last Tammy,(what happened to Cora)?

So if there is anyone who might have any digital copies I would love to re-visit my old comics.

Sorry to hear of your sad loss, WB: I lost the entire lot of my childhood comics and it left a hole in my heart for a long, long time---like having an itch I couldn't quite scratch. A lot of it was sorted eventually though, through the wonders of modern communication.....

Believe me, you're not the only one who wants to know what happened to Cora! The last episode got cut off with the disappearance of Tammy. From what I've found out, Tammy was going to be cancelled in August. But after 23 June issue IPC had another of its strikes. By the time it was settled, finishing the stories would have gone past the original August cancellation. So they left it all unfinished. The 23 June 1984 is the last one ever produced and left us all dangling as to what would have happened to Cora. Even now, I would love to know. The best way to find out is probably to ask the artist, Juliana Buch, but I have no website or email for her. Does anyone know how to contact her?

Commiserations Whiskeybun, all my comics were thrown out circa 1970, leaving me with just a few Picture Library stories which I still have. I now collect girls' annuals. I do wish the copyright owners would issue complete runs in digital form like The Childrens' Newspaper. We live in hope.

What years are the Beanos/Dandys from, incidentally?

a bound volume of 1968 Beanos just went for 455 quid on e-bay [complete year]

By the time the strike was settled they decided not to carry on with Tammy because they were going to cancel her anyway. So they left us dangling over Cora's fate. They didn't even carry Tammy on in Girl, although the Tammy logo appeared on Girl. I presume Tammy was to have merged with Girl if things had gone as planned.
