Eh? Well it isn't even linked to on the website. Probably wasn't meant for public viewing yet - Beano.com (did the BBC News article about this mean Beanotown.com?) is supposed be relaunching soon as well, to replace the Beano Club, I think they'll publicise it then. Thanks.Little Squelchy Thing wrote:There is actually a Beano Twitter account too, but it's only had the one update since July, those menaces: http://twitter.com/BeanoComic
And I love the new Dandy logo, really exudes FUN! Fun fun fun fun fun fun! FUUUUN!
I think you've answered your own question there!Raven wrote:Eeeeenteresting. Facebook (where you're supposed to be 13 minimum to join up) and Twitter aren't really 'little kid' things, so I wonder if they're hoping to build up a bit of a culty style following of older readers too.
I would have said it's more akin to the very first Dandy logo if anything, but with a modern twist.Digifiend wrote:Looks good, although it is quite similar to the Beano logo.

It doesn't look much like the beano logo to me, apart from being on a curve and red and yellow being the colours, which seems to have been the dandy's original colours in any case,, making the beano the follower, not the leader. If anything, the beano logo looks most like that original dandy logo. It's much cleaner and more mathematical than either dandy logos.Lew Stringer wrote:I would have said it's more akin to the very first Dandy logo if anything, but with a modern twist.Digifiend wrote:Looks good, although it is quite similar to the Beano logo.
