Ooh! My mistake! It is `Jet` who is the `smaller` cat! I think he was sploshing Korky with paint! I should pay more attention!

I know the one you're referring to now. Said something about plagarism.

That's it! Digi, Yeah! I think Rab was a bit worried about DC Thomson as they are pretty `protective` from what I hear, but I think he's ok there!

Re: at last: BABY BOOMER
Wasn't a "Baby Boomer" the term given to those `babies` born 1946/7 just after the war ? It was due to the soldiers returning!

Re: at last: BABY BOOMER
I think it applied more to the 1950s actually, because austerity and rationing remained after the war, it was when those restrictions were relaxed that more babies were born.

Any time from 1946 really - men came back from fighting, they celebrated in bed!

Re: at last: BABY BOOMER
the SILENT GENERATION were those between the wars, ie: those born between 1919-1938.
the BABY BOOMERS were, as Digi points out, those born during the population explosion between 1946-1964, and this is where the name of the strip comes from.
GENERATION X are those born between 1965-1981.
GENERATION Y are those born between 1982-2002.
which brings us up to date with GENERATION Z, the babies born since 2003.
BONUS CARTOON :
THEMES: [3]: SURREALISM in the USA.
Here's an older drawing I just finished off, and I'm happy to include it on here :
It gives a good surrealistic flavour of much of the imagery. Another new drawing on Friday.

I have to say that I love your latest signature cartoon. The 'patheticness' of what Jet's trying to do makes it hilarious, as well as Veronica being impressed with his fake 'muscles'.

Sometimes the classics are the best. Somebody using an inflatable muscle suit to impress the girls is an old joke.

Facially- Veronica remind me a little of an actress called Shirley Cheriton!

Re: at last: BABY BOOMER
your comments have been noticed, guys:
Digi: I will bung in an old 'Tom & Jerry' inflatable gag style visual now and again, as I am dealing in recreating the past......however hopefully there is some new stuff in there. I feel the preceding drawing [BABY BOOMER inside a fake KONG] hasn't been done before, anywhere...at least, not to my knowledge.
THEMES [4]: out-and-out fantasy:
the theme of Time-travel is so complex, that it could very easily open up endless story-possibilities on it's own, [like DOCTOR WHO] but there is already so much happening within this strip already, I am just keeping it confined to the occassional one-off excursion into Prehistoric times];

I didn't 'get' the time-travel cartoon at first, but on looking again I noticed the meteorite heading in - nice one!

Re: at last: BABY BOOMER
Mind you! In the 1984-85 run of `I. Spy` strip in `Champ` comic, Mr Mastermind was found to be operating a giant mechanical Abominable Snowman from inside! but no King Kong!!
Anyone else think Veronica resembles actress Shirley Cheriton, or has my injection had a worse side affect than I was told?
